Highschool of the Dead, however, is the exception here. When it comes to ecchi and fanservice animes, i steer very clear from them as they ultimately lead to a pretty unremarkable and even annoying experience. But for anime lovers, especially fan service ones, it’s a total yes for me.There is always exceptions to any rules started by someone or by yourself. Worth the watch? For young audience, not yet. I want another season of it, which I heard is coming this spring 2014 (correct me if I’m wrong guys :3). Well, at the end part was a bit of a cliffhanger for me. I should give it a perfect score since I thought that fan service lovers will hate me XD. Though it’s hard to focus the main character to the other characters, it gave each some exposure and a backstory to each.Īnimation-wise, it was great… for a fan service XD. I was in the mood while watching it, I felt the intensity to say something to them. Giving me this huge laughs, irritating matters and shouting at them like they can hear me. At the same time, I like the blood spewing out of the body, I dunno why I like it XD. Though there are some really intimate scenes here, I didn’t mind (hooray for open-minded people!).

I love zombies since I was a fan of Resident Evil. I love the storyline though, modern apocalypse is in for me. And I was right! So for those anime lovers who are in for fan service, this is really for you. When I saw that, I immediately thought that this anime is gonna be filled with fan service. Later, they hole up at a mall, travel through a police station, and eventually make their way to an elementary school that is supposedly a safe zone.įirst thing that you will notice is… OPPAI!!! Not just any oppai, but really exaggerated oppai XD. They check their homes for survivors, and pick up a little girl and a dog. Starting from the high school, the students escape into town where they must deal with a corrupt teacher and his students. As the cast tries to survive the zombie apocalypse, they must also face the additional threats of societal collapse, in the form of dangerous fellow survivors, and the possible decay of their own moral codes.

Highschool of the Dead is set in present day Japan, beginning as the world is struck by a deadly pandemic that turns humans into zombies, euphemistically referred to by the main characters as “Them”. The story follows a group of high school students (and the school’s nurse) as they deal with a worldwide catastrophic event known as the “Outbreak”.
